This week shops are receiving their shipments of the July 2012 Nike SB General Releases. It seems like its been a while since the June releases, probably because June releases came out in the middle of May for most shops. This month brings some heavy hitters, especially for the skaters. Lots of suede and lots of good colorways. Nike SB and famous artist Pushead are teaming up for another Nike SB Dunk Low in 2012. Back in 2005 Nike SB and Pushead created the "Bruised" Dunk Low and it was a huge success (and one of the rarest Dunk Lows around). The new Dunk Low, nicknamed the "Bleached" Dunk is set to release as a Fall 2012 Quickstrike. The new shoe features black suede with bleached panels and laces. The colorway is said to represent bleached clothing that Pushead wore while he played in the band Septic Death. If the photo isn't enough for you check out this preview video of the shoe:

Converse Skateboarding has officially added Krooked pro Mike Anderson to their Cons skate team. Mike Anderson has been searching for a shoe sponsor since eS went under earlier this year and we're stoked to see him getting hooked up with a legit company. It was confirmed over the weekend that Podium, the umbrella company over DVS Footwear, Matix Clothing and Diamond Supply Co has filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy late last week. It is unclear where the companies will go from here but hopefully the brands will survive through a 363 auction process. DVS has been one of the longest running skate shoe brands in the industry and it would be a shame to see them go under. In recent years they have struggled to keep a core skate loyalty, losing many skaters to bigger brands like Nike and Vans. Hopefully they will not see the same fate that eS saw when they decided to close down at the end of 2011. This month Nike SB has decided to do something that they haven't ever really done before (with the exception of a few black/white colorways) and re-release this popular colorway of the Nike SB Janoski. The black/mint, or Mint Janoskis, were one of the best selling Janoskis during 2010 and you can currently find the re-release at select SB dealers around the country. If you missed out last time this is your chance to get them before they are gone for good.

More About the Nike SB Mint Janoski

This low top skate shoe features a boat-shoe style look with an all black suede upper and off white leather boat shoe laces. The sole is white and the swoosh is a tiffany or mint blue. This shoe is super stylish and is a great choice for both skating or casual wear.

It looks like shops around the country are getting early shipments this month on the Nike SB June 2012 collection. This month has a bunch of good looking shoes, including the much anticipated Tiffany J-Pack. Take a look below at the run down of the June general releases:

Nike SB Janoski - Birch/Jade - Somehow Nike keeps figuring out a way to come out with some awesome new colorways of the Janoski every month. These off white Janoskis feature an all suede birch upper with a jade swoosh and white sole. A good colorway and a suede shoe will be perfect for chilling or skating in.

Nike SB Team Edition - Matte Silver/White - The Team Edition has been a huge success since introduced a few months ago. Skaters really love this shoe and the simplicity. This month the Team Edition comes in an all grey suede upper, black swoosh, and a white sole. Nike has also introduced a new insole similar to the Lunarlon insoles you find in Kostons, which gives this shoe even more of a skate appeal and more comfort for casual wear.

Nike SB Eric Koston - White/Gum - These all white Kostons give a nod to classic 90s coloways and look great! The all white nubuck upper has a white swoosh and sits on a white sole. The Koston is one of the most comfortable and durable SBs and this is one of the sickest colorways yet.

Nike SB Dunk Low Pro - Black/Jade - These "Tiffany J-Pack" Dunks have been hyped up all year online and they are sure to be a hot seller. The shoe features an all suede upper in black with a tiffany blue toebox and swoosh. These Dunk Lows go along with the other Neon J-Pack releases that came out last year. The final shoe features a very subtle cement print on the swoosh and toe box as well.

This month we see two all white releases in both a Janoski and a Dunk High, perfect for the summertime chilling or skating. Wow check out this sick new iPhone case from Vans. This is one of the coolest iPhone cases I've seen yet. Check out this exclusive release from Converse Skateboarding and apparel brand Stussy. The collection features Stussy x Converse colorways of the Sea Star LS and the Elm LS. This is one of Converse Skateboardings new moves into exclusive collaboration colorways and is creating a big buzz online. The Sea Star will come in a Black/Tan colorway as well as a Camo colorway and the Elm features a black leather and tan colorway with nice metal eyelets and boot-style laces. All three shoes will feature a Stussy logo on them as well. This collection will be released on May 5th at select Converse Skateboarding accounts around the US.

Nike SB has taken it to the next level this time by teaming up with Levis and Omar Salazar to create what might be the best skate jean to date. As Levis breaks into the action sports industry with their upcoming skate line this Nike SB x Levis jean will release at very select Levis/Nike SB retailers around the country. The jean will feature Kevlar reinforced denim, anti-bacterial technology, stretch, and Omar Salazars signature cut in a dark indigo wash. Check out the picture of the label below and keep an eye out for these in May 2012.

Earlier this year we heard rumors of a Nike SB x Air Jordan 1 collaboration but up until this week we had seen no pictures. Below is what looks to be the first sample picture to be leaked of the possible shoe. As you can see we have a Black/Blue Air Jordan 1 with an SB label on the tongue. Yesterday Lil Wayne announced to the world that he will be releasing a line of shoes through Supra Footwear. Supra is responsible for some of the most fashion forward high top skate shoes over the past few years and Lil Wayne's shoe is sure to be a great fit to the line. While there is no real information on the shoes or the release date yet, you can read more about what Lil Wayne has to say about the shoe here. Earlier this weekend Eric Koston posted up this picture on his Instagram. It looks like there are samples of the Nike SB Eric Koston 2 on his feet. Rumor has it that the shoe will be released in the Summer of 2013. The original Nike SB Koston shoe is still a pretty new model and is celebrating its one year anniversary in the next couple months with the release of this clean White/Gum colorway. Keep checking back with us for more information and hopefully some pictures of the actual shoe.

This month Adidas is releasing one of its first "quickstrike" shoe colorways from their Adidas Skateboarding line. For this limited edition release Adidas chose a blue and yellow colorway of the Busenitz, its most popular model from the line. The shoe will be available on May 1st and only at select core skate shops, which means no CCS or Zumiez.

The shoe features a blue suede upper with yellow stripes and a light gum sole. The shoes will also come with a limited edition sticker pack. While Adidas obviously doesn't have the same "quickstrike" appeal as a Nike SB it could be the first step in that direction for the brand.

Adidas Skateboarding just released two new colorways of the Adi Ease from their core skate line, both designed by Mark Gonzalez. The Adi Ease is one of Adidas low-profile skate shoes from the line. This shoe is a great low top skate shoe and also a great summertime chiller. Curious about how they skate? Head over to Ripped Laces for their review of the first Gonz colorway. While the canvas on these new colorways may not be the best for durability, the shoe skates GREAT and these colorways are a must have, especially for any Gonz fans.

The first colorway is this yellow/pool canvas Adi Ease. The shoe features a light yellow upper with a white sole and hits of light blue. This shoe is perfect for the Spring 2012 line. The tonal striping is nice because sometimes the three stripes clash with the shoe. The tongue features the Gonz artwork.

The second colorway in the Spring 2012 line is this cinder/blue canvas. The shoe features a mostly grey canvas upper with a white outsole and hits of blue. A big draw is the blue heel, and of course, the Gonz logo on the tongue.

Nike SB has been releasing some great looking shoes this month, way more Quickstrikes than usual for sure. This Dunk High was designed by Frank Kozik and has a great military themed colorway, complete with round boot style laces and a bright orange collar to make it pop. The shoe features an army green sole with 2 shades of olive leather upper and an orange collar and inside. Most sources are saying that these should be dropping in late April as a May Quickstrike, so be sure to check with your local shop to make sure you don't miss out!

UPDATE:
New pictures (below) of this shoe reported this week by Nike Blog show a much different look, this time with a more metallic look to the shoe. The olive outsole has been replaced with a white sole, and the shoe has a much less "military" look to it. Not sure if the shoe has been pushed back, so check back for updates on this soon.
