Nike SB x Pushead Dunk Low Preview

Nike SB and famous artist Pushead are teaming up for another Nike SB Dunk Low in 2012. Back in 2005 Nike SB and Pushead created the "Bruised" Dunk Low and it was a huge success (and one of the rarest Dunk Lows around). The new Dunk Low, nicknamed the "Bleached" Dunk is set to release as a Fall 2012 Quickstrike. The new shoe features black suede with bleached panels and laces. The colorway is said to represent bleached clothing that Pushead wore while he played in the band Septic Death. If the photo isn't enough for you check out this preview video of the shoe:

Nike SB Dunk High “Summit White” Available Now

The May General Release Nike SBs are arriving at shops this week including this super clean all white Nike SB Dunk High Pro. The White/Summit White Dunk High features an all white canvas upper on a white outsole. For all the skaters out there Nike SB mixes it up a bit by adding a suede "summit white" toe cap. All white Dunks are usually a pretty rare occurrence so be sure to grab a pair of these before they disappear from the shelf. Whether you're looking for a light colored high top skate shoe for the summer or just need something clean to wear out these Dunk Highs are the perfect shoe.

Nike SB Dunk Low Premium Medusa

Today shops around the US received the latest Nike SB Dunk Low nicknamed "Medusa". The Medusa is a May 2012 Nike SB release as well as a Premium SB. The shoe has a suggested retail of $98, but by the looks of it the value is sure to go up. Don't be surprised to see this on this years "Best Dunks of the Year" list.

This Dunk Low Pro features a grey pebbled suede upper, green swoosh and accents, and some red branding on the heel. The theme of the mythical Greek Godess is visible through the stone like suede pattern and the reptilian green colors. This is one of the most talked about releases for SB this year and definitely one of our favorite Dunks in a long time.

Nike SB 4/20 Bonsai Janoski

Continuing the tradition of a "4/20" inspired Nike SB the Bonsai Janoski has just been released. The 4/20 theme generally includes a strong marijuana influence or reference, and this years Janoski is no exception. While many people were disappointed by such a basic follow up to the Skunk Dunk High and Cheech and Chong Dunk Mid, others are feeling the simplicity. While many Nike SB fans were expecting another high top skate shoe to represent the 4/20 holiday this year others are big fans of Nike's choice to use their most popular shoe, the Stefan Janoski. The "Bonsai" Janoski features an all suede birch upper with a gum sole. The green piping, swoosh, and laces are obvious references to marijuana and the birch, or off white, suede is a reference to rolling papers. While the hype isnt as big as last years, I'd be sure to grab a pair of these to add to any LEGIT SB collection.

Nike SB April 2012 Releases

With March wrapping up this weekend many shops are starting to see the April 2012 Nike SB collection roll into the door. This year has featured some great releases and April is bringing some heat too. This month features some great colorways on some of the less "popular" models, like the Janoski Mid and the Koston. Check out the pictures below and let us know what you're gonna be picking up next week!

This Nike SB Blazer looks really sick, featuring an all black suede upper with a diamond blue swoosh and hit of red on the heel. Hopefully the Blazer can make its comeback this year because it is a great looking shoe with a lot of great colorways. The suede is sure to be a hit with any skaters who are fans of high top skate shoes.

This Nike SB Stefan Janoski Mid features an all wheat colorway on a gum sole, a great look for this mid top. The Timberland influence is great and reminds me of the Skytops that came out in this colorway not too long ago.

The second Janoski Mid for the April 2012 release comes in this steezy black and red colorway. Aside from the canvas upper, which still seems to turn off skaters, this is probably the best colorway this shoe has been released in. Nike SB needs to stay away from canvas!

The Team Edition (2) has been a big hit among skaters but after the initial release we havent seen too many great colorways. Hopefully this blue will be followed up by something a little better next month.

Finally a GREAT colorway for the SB Koston. Every since the first release of the shoe we haven't seen too many popping colorways. This red looks awesome and after seeing everyone rocking them at the Tampa Pro 2012 last weekend I'm sure kids are dying to get their feet into a pair.

Last up is the Nike SB Dunk High Pro, a classic and always popular model. This Dunk looks really similar to the Plum Dunk that came out late last year, but with a little bit of a different color scheme. Overall I'd say that this Dunk might not be as big as some of the last couple months, and definitely will not be a stand-out for this month. The red Koston is sure to be the first to sell out of April's main releases.

Nike SB Entourage Dunk April Release

After over a year of hype, Nike SB has finally sorted out issues with the Entourage Dunk Low and set a release date for later next month in March. Rumor has it that this shoe will be the April "Quickstrike" release (although some sources are already pointing at May). The Entourage Dunk, based on the HBO series with the same name, has been creating a buzz since samples were leaked over a year ago. Check out the picture below for what is expected to be the actual shoe that will hit shelves.

The first hyped up QUICKSTRIKE Nike SB Dunk of 2012 is about to be released this week and the internet is already buzzing! The "Shrimp" Dunk is going to be a very limited release in the US because it was mostly for Austrailia. The "Shrimp" is referencing the famous "Shrimp on the barbie" quote from famous character Crocodile Dundee. This is a GREAT looking skate shoe with a really cool story behind it. Nike SB Entourage Dunk Delayed!!

One of the most anticipated releases of the year, and maybe the past few years, the "Entourage" Dunk Low was originally set to be released on Black Friday (the day after Thanksgiviing). Nike reps are now telling their accounts that the shoe will be DELAYED until January most likely. No official reasons have been given for the delay, but we do know that the Quickstrike for November 2011 is the star-wars inspired "Tauntaun" Dunk High. Nike SB Dunk High Tauntaun

The November 2011 Quickstrike release for Nike SB will be this Star Wars inspired Dunk High. The "Tauntaun" Dunk High takes inspiration from a species of characters from Star Wars that live in an icy planet. As you can see in this picture below, this is where the cool blue colors come from.

This high top skate shoe will feature a mostly canvas upper with cool blue and grey colors. Expect to see this Dunk released in place of the "Entourage" dunk that was supposed to come out in November, but has now been delayed.

UPDATE: The Tauntaun Dunk High is now arriving at shops across the country. These shoes look MUCH better in person. They feature a mix of premium materials, all thicker and warmer, perfect for the winter season. Be sure to contact your LOCAL SB dealer or hit up eBay before its too late to get a pair of these!

More About Nike SB Space Jam Dunk Low Pro

Nike SB got pretty lucky here, considering that Jordan and Nike brand are all under the same umbrella, this shoe doesn't pose much of a copyright threat. That means they can basically copy it. The shoe will feature a black patent leather check and upper, combined with a mesh panel. The sole also features translucent soles just like the Jordan. To top it off, they even added round laces and a blue Nike logo. This is the sickest dunk to come out in a while!

Happy Birthday to the Skunk Dunk!

Just wanted to make a post in honor of the 1 year anniversary of the Nike SB Skunk Dunk High. This is probably the most popular Nike SB Dunk High release in the past few years, maybe even of all time. Released on 4/20/2010, this dunk has obvious references to the marijuana holiday, including a purple "stoned" skunk on the insole. These shoes look pretty wild but for the potheads out there, which happen to overlap largely with the sneaker collector crowd, this shoe is a must have.

As you can see in the picture, the shoe features a fuzzy green and purple material covering it. There are even  sparkling "crystals" mixed in to create a really obvious look. These dunks sold out all across the country as soon as they came out and shops still get calls about them. If you missed it, you might get lucky to grab a pair under $300 on eBay. Otherwise you'll have to hope that the delay of this year's "420" dunk makes it to the stores.

Nike SB 2011 4/20 Dunk “Cheech and Chong”

After months of rumors and no official confirmation, the 2011 4/20 Nike SB Dunk High quickstrike has finally been leaked. This year's 4:20 dunk features a Cheech and Chong theme. The shoe's feature a different back panel for each shoe, one being a bandanna to represent Tommy Chong and the other being a striped felt to represent Cheech's beanie (see picture below).

The Dunk features a white canvas that will slowly shred away when worn in or skated and reveals a green layer of suede underneath. It wouldn't be a 4:20 dunk without the weed reference thrown in there, and the "rolling paper" toecap is definitely an awesome addition to the shoe. These dunks will be one of the most exclusive shoes available this year, so if you want a pair, you might as well get to your local SB dealer a couple days early to avoid paying hundreds from resellers.
