Supra Skytop III Details

The biggest thing people will notice about the third installment of the Skytop series is that the Skytop III is a mid top. The first Skytop was a very high top, and the second was even higher. This model is a little bit more modest. The shoe features a rubber and foam sole, reminiscent of an old basketball shoe. The upper features a suede area with a rubber mid section. The shoe looks great and can cater to both sneaker lovers and skaters.

Supra Skytop 3 Preview with Chad Muska

Chad Muska seemed a little bit outlandish a few years ago when he first released his Skytop design from Supra Footwear. The Skytop is a really tall shoe and was one of the first of its kind. Even in the beginning people seemed a little scared to like the sneaker. That all changed quickly, especially after celebrities like Jay-Z appeared wearing them. It's now time for the Skytop 3, the third addition to the Skytop line. The Skytop 3 is a cupsole shoe and is a bit lower than the other Skytops (but still considered a high top skate shoe). Overall it looks pretty good if you want something a little toned down and different. The sole is reminiscent of an old Jordan and the shoe even features a plastic/rubber panel on the side. Kansas City Street League Final Results and Videos

This past weekend Kansas City hosted the 2nd stop of the 2011 Street League DC Pro Tour. Nyjah Huston ended up edging out Chris Cole, Ryan Sheckler, and Chaz Ortiz for the first place prize of $150,000. While watching the contest I noticed that some big shoe related things were going on. First of all, Chris Cole was skating in his new DC Chris Cole S pro model shoe, which you can see reviewed all over the web right now. Another big thing was that Nyjah Huston was skating in some Supra shoes, specifically the TK Stacks. He also had on a pair of Krew jeans, which is also under One Distribution with Supra. This leads me to believe he will be riding for Supra soon, which is a HUGE move for Nyjah and Supra. Check out the video below for some footage of the finals and CLICK HERE to view to full webcast.

In late 2010 Supra and its sister clothing brand Krew collaborated on one of the most exclusive high top skate shoes of the year. The Supra "Franchise" Vaider High is a great looking shoe featuring frayed Krew denim on the entire upper with a white vulcanized sole. Collaborating on this shoe was a great move for both Supra and Krew. Supra ends up with a really nice shoe featuring premium materials and a unique look. This shoe also helps out Krew by bringing the name of the apparel up to a new level of exposure and also letting people know that the two companies are a pair. My favorite feature about the shoe has to be the 3 metal rivets on the tongue.

Stevie Williams on Supra Footwear

Supra has just announced that legendary east coast skater Stevie Williams will now be a part of the Supra family. Stevie Williams has been killing it on a board for the past decade and is also the owner of DGK Skateboards, which is now based out of Atlanta. Stevie was part of the legendary LOVE Park era of skating that took place in the late 90s-early 2000s, and is considered one of the all time greatest street skaters. Supra introduces TK Stacks shoe

This week marks the release of Supra's newest model, the Stacks. The Stacks is Terry Kennedy's second pro model shoe and is creating a huge buzz in the skate world. Surprising many people, this shoe is nothing like Terry's first model, the Society. This shoe is a low top, low profile shoe designed much better for skateboarding, but still creating a stylish look that people are going to go nuts for.
